We made it! The plane flight was relatively uneventful, except for my minor panic attack when the landing gear was making so much noise coming down that I thought the pilot might need help manually lowering it. Cesar said that it looked like I was giving birth with the amount of hyperventilating I was doing. The only other excitement was when I got to try out the changing table in the airplane bathroom with Sabine. She freaked out and so did I...I would rather not ever have to repeat that experience. I was unable to fully wash either of our hands, hence the picture of me with the hand sanitizer. As we were landing, Che and Sabine both loved looking out the window and Che announced that after we landed it would be "glorious in Yourami". He thinks Miami is actually My Ami, as in I own it. I have tried to explain that it is not my personal Ami, nor anyone else's, but he hasn't quite grasped it yet. After waiting on the tarmac for thirty minutes before getting to our gate, we waited at Budget forEVER to get our car. Then we quickly installed the carseats amidst baby crying and 4-year-old whining just to turn the car on and find out it needed an oil change. We then had to repeat the process over again this time with even more crying, whining, and with added choice words between the adults. After getting briefly lost when the GPS failed to locate satellites, we finally got in around 10:15 to Pipo and Tata's; the hectic travel was all worth it when we saw Sabine interacting with Pipo and Tata unabashedly as if she had been hanging out with them every day since birth. It was wonderful!
